سلام! لنتویت میجر د سینټ اتن په ښکته برخه کې یو ښار دی، موږ د خوښی احساس کوو او دا زموږ دپاره یو نیکمرغه ده هیله لرو چې تاسو به په انګلستان کې خپل نوی ژوند په خو ښیو سره را پیل کړئ!

The St Athan military base is being used for the next few weeks as a national UK reception centre for families fleeing Afghanistan.

The Afghan families arriving in St Athan are not ‘refugees’ but people entitled to come to live in Britain. The British Government has invited them to live in Britain because they have been working alongside and supporting British forces in Afghanistan.

The families will stay in St Athan, on the military camp, for the next few weeks then move to communities all over Britain to begin their new lives

Local projects in St Athan and Llantwit are helping with donations of shoes, toys and sports kit for the children of the families who have newly arrived, and supporting new friends.

The Military camp is closing at St Athan this year and the army will be off site by January 2025.
Our group, Llantwit – Together in Kindness, welcomes you all. Over the next few weeks we’ll continue to help with community donations and helping groups to say hello.
